400WW - Post World War II Denim

Sale price$265.00

Five-pocket jeans reproduced using manufacturing techniques from the good old days.

The fabric is UES's original 14.9oz brown cotton denim. The bespoke yarn, which is blended with brown cotton during spinning, is rope-dyed to produce a more profound, darker color than regular yarn. This original weakly twisted yarn is woven slowly on an old-fashioned power loom, creating a fabric that is renowned for its colorfastness.

In terms of sewing, we try to use colorfast cotton thread as much as possible so that it blends in with the color of the fabric. Cotton thread does not have the unpleasant sheen of nylon spun thread, and changes naturally over time. The thickness and color of the thread is also changed depending on the sewing location. The fabric is folded in so that it is raised between the belt loops and the double stitching at the pocket openings. This protects the stitching on the raised fabric, making it less likely to tear.

UES jeans are not stone washed or processed in any way, so you can enjoy the fading right from the start. The best part of denim is how the look changes depending on who wears them. Please grow them into UES jeans with love. To enjoy growing them, it is important to first choose a silhouette you like.

While tapered silhouettes remain popular, UES's new denim is a classic straight type. The design is reminiscent of WWII models, with all-yellow stitching and leftover selvedge satin for the lining. The fabric is the classic 14.9oz denim. The soft texture of Zimbabwe cotton, combined with the relaxed silhouette, provides a comfortable fit.
