An unwaxed cotton lining provides an additional layer of protection for you gear. The handles wrap completely around the bag to cradle heavy loads. Each interior endcap features a stow pocket to keep essentials organized.

Often imitated, Filson oil finish Tin Cloth has kept foresters, sportsmen, ranchers, and tradesmen dry and protected in the rain-soaked Pacific Northwest for more than a century. Tin Cloth’s tight weave makes it a barrier to thorns, abrasion, wind, water, and mud.

The Bridle Leather handles and removable shoulder strap are made from saddle-grade leather that has been vegetable-tanned by Wickett & Craig, the premier leather tanners since 1867. Over the course of weeks, hides are steeped in various plant-based solutions with waxes and tallow added in the final stages. This creates a lustrous, durable leather that lasts for generations. There is no finer leather that Filson Bridle Leather, and it’s made with not toxic or harmful chemicals.
